i haven't gone out for ages..but the other day i did..and got drunk..

when i work, when i study, when i talk - my mind seems to be o.k.

...but when i'm drunk, all my mind-control-effort just blows off. and all i've got in my head...

is you.

just you

wherever i look

whatever i do

whatever i think of

you

in my head

in my body

in my soul

wish to get rid of you

wish i hadn't drunk that much

can't get you off my mind

but i'm drunk

and just now, i wish i could lay in your arms

and kiss you

i miss you

still love you

after all

so much pain is coming up...

..never wanna get drunk again..

wherever you gonna go

wherever you gonna be

i'll be with you

with you there

wherever i'm gonna stay

whatever i'm gonna do

you'll be with me

all the time

'cause you're part of mine

and when i go to sleep

try to count some sheep

there you appear

suddenly so near

infront of my inner eye

no chance to deny

all the moments that we shared

and the beauty that was there

our hearts are one

even when you're gone

no matter where and with who

i will be there with you

'cause i'm part of you

öhm wenn man englische gedichte schreibt sollte man der sprache und der grammatik auch halbwegs mächtig sein

ausserdem sind die reime doch relativ billig

Aber er hat recht :P

"wherever I'm gonna stay" ?

"no matter where and with who" ?

Nur weil jemand Kritik übt brauchst du ihn nicht gleich anzupflaumen.

A propos englische Gedichte, da fällt mir grad ein schönes ein, was am Anfang eines Liedes kommt:

i had a friend who died

for something he really loved

i had a friend who stood

for none of the above

i had a friend whose experience

was riddled with scars

who got drunk one night

in the trunk of louie p.'s car

i had a friend who'd love to scare you

as was his affection

and tremble you did

'cause you weren't worthy of his friendship

i had a friend, but now

he's stranded on the mesa street exit

and sometimes i'm jealous

'cause i'm still at the intersection

i had a friend whose heart was too heavy to hold

yes there's blood on the median

like a boat without oars

(At The Drive In - Embroglio)
